Created for Relationships

God created us for relationship, first and foremost with Him. From the beginning, He formed us in His image and breathed life into us, showing that our lives were never meant to be lived apart from Him. When we invest in our relationship with God, we gain access to the love, strength, and power that shape every other relationship in our lives.

Scripture reminds us that we are deeply loved children of God. He meets us with mercy, brings us from death to life, and invites us into daily connection with Him. Through prayer, reading the Bible, and creating moments of silence and stillness, we make space to hear His voice and invite Him into every part of our lives.

This Week’s Challenge:
Each day this week, read one of the following passages:

Genesis 1:26–27; Genesis 2:6–7; 1 John 3:1; Romans 5:8; Ephesians 2:4–5.

After reading, spend five minutes in silence listening for what God may be saying to you.

Prayer:
“God, thank you for creating me for a relationship with You. Breathe life into the parts of my life that feel empty, help me listen for Your voice, and show me how to invite You into every area of my life. Amen.”

The Den Community exists to create spaces where any young adult or young professional can form organic community, wrestle with what they believe about Jesus, and discover how to follow Him more clearly.
